宇宙列車 -SPACE EXPRESS-

宇宙列車(Uchū Ressha), or Space Express is a Touhou and retro shmup -inspired game made for the 54th Ludum Dare gamejam.

Take the latest Kalibr.4 spaceship and blast through 3 different stages, each containing many enemies and one boss at the end.

Controls:

• Arrow keys - Move
• X - Shoot toggle
• Z - Slow down
• Double tap a direction key - Dash

During slowdown, your hitbox is decreased in size, making it easier to dodge bullets.
To dash diagonally, hold one direction and double tap another.

Features:

• Schmup-bullet hell mix with hard and interesting gameplay.
• "Soft" time limit to all stages.
• UI that gives you a feeling of being inside a spaceship.
• Pixelated art-style, heavily inspired by old shmup games.
